The project's goal is to repair school roof to avoid teaching and learning difficulties during the rainy season. We want our children to feel safe, be able to escape from raining and prevent books from getting destroyed or getting wet during study. To solve these, we need to remove broken parts of the roof and place new ones. New roof enables children and teachers for better teaching and learning environment. It is a huge change for both teaching and learning process.
During the rainy season, the roof leaks and it affects students and teachers' teaching and learning. It also makes our students wet and their books and study materials wet, too. Raining makes roof leak which affects student's learning environment and demotivates students to come to school when it is raining.
The project solves teaching inconveniences that happen during the rainy season at Salariin Kampuchea Learning Center due to roof leaking. Good learning and teaching environment make kids happy and more willing to attend the classes regularly at our school.
The project will impact over 300 Cambodian Children and will scope a better environment. The new roof will last for many years. We know that a safe environment motivates children to attend our school and keeps them motivated until they are ready for their further study at university. By applying English speaking, reading, writing and listening skills we teach at our school, it improves life prospect of students and build a strong local economics through skills they apply in the job markets.
