For 100 of Bangladesh's most vulnerable families, poverty is not a statistic - it is an empty plate, a child pulled from school, a woman with skills but no capital to use them. OBHIZATRIK Foundation's integrated community development programme combines immediate food support with long-term livelihood training, giving families the tools to not just survive - but grow. Your $250 can transform one family's trajectory permanently.
Many vulnerable families in Bangladesh face ongoing food insecurity, unemployment, and financial instability. Women with skills often lack access to training, capital, and market opportunities, while families struggling with poverty are forced to reduce meals, withdraw children from school, and live without economic security. Climate disasters and job losses continue to worsen these challenges.
OBHIZATRIK Foundation will support 100 vulnerable families through an integrated programme combining food assistance, livelihood training, and startup capital. Families will receive monthly food support while participating in business skills training, mentoring, and income-generating activities such as tailoring, poultry farming, handicrafts, and small business development.
The project will improve food security and create sustainable income opportunities for 100 families, benefiting around 500 people. Women will gain practical business skills and financial independence, while families increase their monthly income and reduce dependency on aid. The programme will also help children remain in school and strengthen long-term community resilience against poverty.
