From 25 July to 13 August 2026, Indonesian cyclists Mutia Wulandari and Chairunnisa will take on NorthCape4000, covering around 4,000 kilometres across eight European countries. Through Ride for Indonesia, they aim to raise funds for 100 children on Seram Island, Maluku, providing education, healthcare, nutritious food, mentoring, and skills development for one year.
Many children on Seram Island face financial hardship, long distances to school, limited infrastructure, and a lack of essential learning resources. These barriers can affect their education, health, confidence, and future opportunities. Without consistent assistance, some may struggle to stay in school and reach their full potential.
Ride for Indonesia will turn a 4,000-kilometre cycling challenge into a fundraising movement for 100 children. Through Human Initiative's Foster Parent Program, funds will provide school needs, healthcare, nutritious food, mentoring, character development, and skills-building activities for one year.
This project will help children stay in school, improve their well-being, build confidence, and develop important life skills.
