Alianzas para la siembra sostenible

English Report: Restoring Ayapel Wetland – Planting Together (ESPAÑOL MÁS ABAJO)

In collaboration with the CorpoAyapel Environmental Club and the Omacha Foundation, we have planted approximately 550 trees during the first semester of 2024. These efforts focused on reforestation at our headquarters and along the Los Emiliano stream.

Participants:

  • 60 children from the CorpoAyapel Environmental Club
  • Omacha Foundation
  • Various educational institutions: Pablo VI School, El Rosario School, Divino Niño School, Sacred Heart School, and Simón Bolívar School

Our young Environmental Club members engaged in a special activity at the CorpoAyapel nursery, planting lemon and orange seeds. This hands-on experience taught them the importance of preserving the environment while fostering a deeper connection with nature.

Additionally, we welcomed students from Nuestra Señora del Rosario School, who participated in a tree-planting event at our headquarters as part of their social service commitment. These activities not only contribute to environmental conservation but also raise ecological awareness among the youth.

Together, we are restoring the Ayapel wetland and ensuring a sustainable future for our community!
