Teenage motherhood can change a young woman's plans unexpectedly. When abandonment or rejection follows, the emotional and social challenges can become even greater.
For more than 120 teenage mothers in Ksmuli, Mwanyagiri, and Kirinya villages, F SSIBU Mission Foundation is working to create spaces where they can regain confidence and begin looking forward again.
Through Restored Hope for Teenage Mothers, we provide opportunities for mentorship and counseling alongside practical empowerment activities.
Our message is simple: motherhood does not erase a young woman's potential.
Young mothers can still learn, develop skills, pursue opportunities, strengthen their parenting abilities, and contribute positively to their communities.
Reproductive health education also forms an important part of our work, helping young mothers access accurate information about their health and make informed decisions about their futures.
Skills development can complement this support by creating pathways toward greater economic independence.
Donor support can help us provide counseling, mentorship sessions, educational materials, vocational training, and practical resources.
For a young mother who feels isolated, knowing that someone believes in her can be a powerful beginning.
Our goal is to help these 120+ young mothers move forward with greater confidence and a stronger sense of possibility.
Together, we can help replace isolation with support and uncertainty with opportunities for growth.
