Behind every teenage mother is a young woman whose own dreams still matter.
She may once have imagined completing school, developing a career or building a successful future. Motherhood may have arrived before she was ready, forcing her to confront responsibilities far beyond her age.
At F SSIBU Mission Foundation, we believe her story should not end there.
Our programs seek to provide teenage mothers with opportunities to rebuild their confidence, strengthen their knowledge and acquire practical skills that can help them care for their children and work toward greater independence.
We also recognize that supporting the mother alone is not enough.
Her child needs attention, care, nourishment, protection and opportunities to grow. By supporting both mother and child, we create a stronger foundation for the entire family.
For some young mothers, mentorship can provide the encouragement needed to make positive choices. For others, vocational training can open a pathway toward earning an income. Psychosocial support can help them process difficult experiences and regain confidence. Parenting and health education can strengthen their ability to care for their children.
Meanwhile, their children can benefit from support with basic necessities, early development, education preparation and a nurturing environment.
Donor support allows us to bring these interventions together.
Your contribution can help a young mother learn tailoring, entrepreneurship, crafts, digital skills or another practical livelihood skill. It can help provide supportive sessions where she can speak openly and receive guidance. It can also contribute toward necessities that help her child grow with dignity.
