This week, we reached a significant milestone: 20 teenage mothers have been reconciled with their parents through community-led dialogue. In meetings with parents, we addressed the painful cycle of abandonment, where girls are often cast out for mistakes and forced to stay with older boyfriends who impregnated them. By showing parents the long-term harm of rejection—both to their daughters and to community stability—hearts and homes have begun to reopen.
But reconciliation is only the first step. We have pledged tangible support to each family. First, we will provide family planning education to every young mother, empowering her to prevent future pregnancies without coercion—restoring her right to choose her own path. Second, we will enroll each girl into vocational training, the core mission of our program. Learning a trade means she can support herself and her child with dignity.
With your support, we are not just mending broken relationships—we are building self-reliance, breaking cycles of poverty and early pregnancy, and proving that a teenage mother is never beyond hope. Thank you for making this possible.
