Greetings from STEPS NGO
STEPS express its thanks for your support to our project that made possible to offer vision correction services for Rural and Urban people.
This program provides an essential eye care service to people in community where it was previously unavailable. The funds raised will make possible to provide spectacles to the people who are very poor and cannot afford to buy glasses even at very low prices.
There is gap in providing these services because the Entrepreneurs trained in vision testing left the organization and settled in other places. We have identified 2 new Entrepreneurs Mr. C. Suresh and Mr. S. Lokanadham. They have attended work shop from 12/06/2018 to 13/06/2018 organized by ZESIS & ALOKA Vision Care programme in Bangalore, India. The workshop aimed to inform and train participants about the basics of the work with the community and what is expected by them as Entrepreneurs in terms of learning new concepts, new information about vision care so that they can able to transmit such knowledge and raise awareness among the whole community. In future more number of Entrepreneurs will be identified and training will be given to implement this program in more places.
Thank you for making this vital service possible with your generous donations.
Thanks and Regards
