Dear Partner,

Thank you for your supporting our work. We are inspired by Carney Julia’s 1845 poem “Little Drops of Water”. This little drops of water, and your little grains of sand, together make a mighty ocean. Your little bits of kindness last for eternity, changing people’s stories down to generations unborn! We are inspired to do this work because we can count on you. 

Although many charitable organizations help and show compassion towards humanity like we both do, you decided to be an ally. Thank you again for choosing to support our work.

Since our last report in April 2024, we trained 43 individuals through our classes in Intro to Computer/MSO, Web Design, Data Entry, Financial Literacy, and Business Coaching. Because of your generosity, we can offer these classes. Below are a few success stories attributed to you.

1. Our web design class is still on-going and one of the students will be taking the SEO certification exams for entry level web design job. We will be paying for him to take the exams and will support him with building his resume and job search. We owe this success to your generosity, thank you.
2. We had a large influx of refugees and were fortunate to have volunteer interpreter which made delivering resources a lot easier.

In line with the above successes, we ask that you please continue to support our work so we can sustain these successes. We need additional funding for the following:

  As requested in our April report, we are looking to begin a Data Processing to give data entry graduates more skills for entry level computer jobs. This means paying a new instructor to teach this class.

  As you are aware, we need funding to increase capacity for providing an array of services to support survivors and refugees as they struggle to adjust to their new norma.

Your generosity motivates us to give our time and talents to supporting and giving voice to the population we serve. Without this support, they will continue in a cycle of victimization. Providing these classes diverts them from the pain of their abuse, and fear of the unknown. Our classes open the doors of hope for a brighter future for these individuals. We take pride in the fact that our work is giving hope to survivors that they can dream again!
