Dear Partner,

Your support towards Restoration Project Resource Center is greatly appreciated. We cannot do this work without you. You are partnering with us to change lives even in a time when the world is facing serious challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you!

We are happy to say that we are successfully wading through the challenges brought about by the global “pandemic”. Supporters and Partners like you have consistently ensured that we continued our services. Our social media and data entry course is giving our participants the needed skills for immediate employment. They may only need to work from home- very good for our women, especially those who have school-age children. The uniqueness of our skills development program is that it gives skills and provides tools for economic empowerment and opens doors for economic opportunities. Since this program started in 2016, we have seen at least 10 women improve their economic status,  computer skills, ability to manage their finances, take advantage of investment opportunities through our micro-finance partners, and receive soft skills for entry-level jobs in data entry. We also invest in paid internships, certification exams, and financial assistance for paid applications for programs that will enhance their economic status- job marketability, training, and apprenticeship. Although all of the above are added expenses, with your support we shall meet these financial obligations.

Besides our skills development, we hold workshops and webinars to change perceptions and misconceptions about our population as well as increase awareness of their problems. We engage community members' support in providing a safe and comfortable environment for our survivors. Some of the Speakers at these events are PAID because they are experts and professionals. For example, it costs us between $500 and $1,000 to get Survivor Leaders to speak at any one of these events. They are an inspiration to our population and also help us educate our community members.

We know we can rely on partners and supporters like you. We want you to know that we do not take your generosity and support lightly. That is why we appeal to you for your continued support. We cannot do this work without you. Please know that your financial support enables us to keep experts and professionals in our pool of instructors, interns, and volunteers. ALL our instructors are experts and are PAID. We cannot do this without your financial support!

We would love to hear words like our past graduates shared with us…“the way they help for people for better job and opportunity”, “it is free and they teach u a lot about coding and python”, and “the way of teaching and the environment was comfortable” These powerful words are a consolation that you and RPI are touching lives!

Like we always say, there is power in numbers! We are sincerely grateful for your support. We would also like to hear from you- your insights, words of encouragement, advice on improving our impacts, etc. Please feel free to email me!

Please continue to help change the lives of girls and women one person at a time. There is this song I learned in elementary school: Little drops of water and little grains of sand, make a mighty ocean; little bits of kindness for eternity!
