Dear Partner,
Thank you for your support and commitment to ensure that Restoration Project Resource center continues its good work in our community. We cannot serve our community and population without your continued support.
Our SAFE (Survivor Awareness & First Encounter) Program which was launched in March of 2019 has been educating our community and providing the needed tools to support survivors, and protect at-risk/vulnerable girls. We are leading impact in the bid to preventing trafficking within our community. So far, we have provided training to 33 community members through our awareness training. This program will not be made available to the community without your support.
Our 2nd financial literacy class ended in May with 4 women graduating from this program. Our 2nd Microsoft class is ongoing, it will end in July. Currently, 8 women are taking this class. These classes are held in our Resource Center under our Skills Development program. At the end of each class, we will be having a coaching/assessment for participants to determine the next level. We would be needing sponsorship for these coaches.
We want to be able to give participants of our skills development program opportunities to utilize the skills and tools they receive from these classes to improve their economic situation.
THANK YOU for helping us keep our resource center open. Please continue to support our project so we can sustain our programs. Remember, your donation helps us provide an array of services on one platform; it also helps us to raise awareness. We hate to see our community ill-prepared to support survivors and help them re-integrate into communal life. Lack of funding can stifle any progress we are making. More and more community members are gaining knowledge and receiving tools on how to help survivors; this can be stifled by a lack of funding. Like we always say, “there is power in numbers”! Be part of this good work, DONATE!!
Please help us achieve the goal of bringing our women to an unimpaired state and provide tools for leadership roles in the fight against human trafficking.
