Dear Partner,
As always, we truly appreciate all your support and commitment to ensuring that Restoration Project Resource center is operational. You also help us keep up the good work of providing tools for survivors to reintegrate properly and fully into communal life. Thank you so much.
Our first set of skills development classes graduated 6 of the initial 7 women that went through our program in November, 2018. We are excited that with proper follow-up, our graduates will use these tools to better themselves and the world around them.
These classes – Microsoft and Financial Literacy – would be repeated again January – April, 2019 for a new set of women. Our ultimate goal is to get our women to take the Microsoft certification exams and be able to improve their economic status. We are looking forward to equipping at least 20 women before the last quarter of 2019 for economic and social empowerment. We hope to start our ASPIRE Mentoring program, which will run concurrently with these two classes.
We will continue to provide avenues for victims and survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence to heal, and become productive members of society. Here’s what two of the participants of our program said:
“I want to thank who make this program possible. I hope this program continue”. “…I learned how to improve my credit score and what to do if I want to register my business”. The next step for these graduates is to introduce them to workforce development programs and job search. We want to be able to build a sellable resume for them so they can be adequately prepared for the competitive job market. We believe these tools will help them become economically independent.
We want to be able to sustain our programs so that we can see survivors to fully recovery. We cannot accomplish this without your support. Please continue to support our work we present a full spectrum of an array of services with ultimate goal of skills acquisition for sustainable restoration. We are defined by our belief in restoration of dignity and voices of survivors.
With your help, we have raised $1,300, a progress from our last report, THANK YOU! Please continue to support our project so we can sustain our programs. Remember, your donation help us provide an array of services on one platform; it also helps us help us to raise awareness. Insufficient funds may negatively impact survivors, which is what we hate to see. If we stop providing any service for lack of funding, we increase survivors’ to fear and mistrust for society and systems.
Please help us achieve the goal of bring our women to an unimpaired state and provide tools for leadership roles in the fight against human trafficking.
