We are so grateful to all those who donated to this project!
Thanks to the valuable feedback we were given by our local students we have improved our design and updated materials. Many of our adult, female students questioned the constant access to smart devices and called for a solution. Our greatest improvement is the inclusion of an embedded projector into the device, which allows for videos to be played on demand without the need for a smart device. We believe that this design can supplement teacher instruction, provide access to a wider variety of subjects and curricula and provide vocational training specific to the needs of the community. All of this is in addition to the original design creating an offline digital library.
We are excited to announce that we have filed a patent for our design and we are working hard to increase awareness of our product and its potential to improve access to education around the world. We recognize the importance of including the communities we serve in the design and development of improvements to our device.
We believe our Teach by Tech offline digital library has the potential to transform education in remote locations as it expands access to a variety of education instruction and mateials. The sky is the limit as multiple subjects, topics and languages can be aded to the device to localize content. The best part is that no internet is needed and the device can be powered using solar power. We could not find success without you. Please tell your friends and colleagues about our project and help us spread the word about our remarkable device. Thank you for all you do to help Teach by Tech grow and increase access to education around the world!
Warm regards,
Linnie Pawlek
