ACHI have been planning for our annual health screening that is coming up in the month of November. Meanwhile the maintenance program is still in progress with good results. Due to the Boko Haram unrest in the northern part of the country that is displacing a lot of people from the east, we are seeing more people at the Resource center looking for assistance with medical supplies and medications. The numbers keep increasing every month and that is putting a lot of pressure on our financial status and our budget. The water project is still in progress and still need more work to be done to increase the distribution to more families around the community, and to secure the outlets that are already in use. We want to thank you for your continued support in sustaining this program that has really saved a lot of lives. Diabetes and Hypertension continues to be on the rise in Nigeria and more damaging to the individuals in the rural who left without any source of health care and needed supplies and information to manage their conditions.
