ACHI has put on hold this year’s annual Medical Outreach at the Resource center due to unrest and increased insecurity in Nigeria that has spread to the Eastern Region. We were advised by the volunteers on ground to considering postponing the program this while we watch the situation closely. This has also affected the decision on starting the construction of the medical laboratory at the site. The laboratory project was put on hold last due to the pandemic. We continue to carry out the monthly maintenance program at the site with caution. We are hoping that the condition will get better for us continue with the project and provided the needed services to the community. We appreciate your continued dedication in assisting us to serve the less privileged and under served in this part of the world. Help is still needed to fully equip the lab for its needed functions.
