Stitch, a 1-year-old buff boy, is alive and healing today because compassion met action—and because supporters like you make rescue possible.
A Good Samaritan had been feeding Stitch outdoors and became alarmed when his injuries worsened. She trapped him and brought him to her local animal control, where he tested positive for FIV. The veterinary team cleaned his wounds and started antibiotics, but his recovery took time. For 30 long days, Stitch fought through healing before his wounds were mostly resolved.
Once stable, he was placed on the urgent rescue-only list—his future uncertain without a rescue able to step in. Thanks to donor support, we were able to say yes. We rescued Stitch, covered his medical care, and placed him into a loving foster home where he could finally rest and feel safe.
Despite his battle scars, Stitch is the sweetest, most grateful boy. He leans into affection, seeks comfort, and shows every day just how thankful he is to be off the streets and on his way to the life he deserves.
Your generosity turns urgent cases into success stories. Because of you, Stitch didn’t just survive—he now has a future.
