Mud Pie was intercepted at an animal shelter by a NBCR volunteer. She and 20+ cats were living on a farm where an elderly person was feeding then as best she could but they were not provided medical care. One might expect a cat living in the country with so many other cats might be feral but that was not the case. As a young kitten, Mud Pie was friendly, affectionate and outgoing. While she clearly needed some TLC and a healthy diet, the volunteer knew she would make a great pet for someone. After being fostered and vetted, Mud Pie was adopted by a previous adopter. She has been renamed Sasha and is loving life in the city with her new Mom. Stay tuned for future updates on her siblings.
