By Stacy Soileau | Adoption Facilitator
This time of year the local city shelters are overflowing with momma cats and kittens. Recently, the city shelter was out of room in both their adoption room and in their sick bay. If any more cats came in at that time, it meant the city would have to begin euthanizing the cats that were currently there to make room for the new intakes.
When the shelter put out a call for help, New Beginnings Cat Rescue quickly responded. Jumping into action, a few volunteers went straight to the shelter with plans to rescue 4 or maybe 5, but when they saw the look on those furry little faces, it was all over...before we knew it 16 cats were rescued from being euthanized that week. Three days later New Beginnings returned and pulled 5 more cats and kittens. All are in the process of being vetted and will soon be available for adoption. Your donation will help us continue saving more cats from being euthanized at city shelters for no reason other than lack of space. That's a pitiful reason for not giving them a chance. All they need is a little more time to find their forever home.
Because of your generous support, we can focus on rescuing. Thank you for helping these precious cats.
