What a busy year it has been for New Beginnings Cat Rescue; rescuing both kittens and older cats from being euthanized.
One little female cat we named Talley, was found as a stray and was very pregnant. Within 4 days of being rescued, she delivered her litter of 8 kittens. She's a great mom and is doing very well adjusting to her new surroundings with her foster family. Soon, mom and babies will be available for adoption.
Another beautiful cat, 7-year-old Alice was relinquished by her owner because of litter box issues. A medical examination by our veterinarian revealed she had a large bladder stone. After surgery to remove the stone, her litter box issues have disappeared. Alice is ready to find her forever family.
Sometimes, after leaving an animal shelter with adoptable cats, we find a stow away; a cat that wasn't on the list to be picked up. No questions are asked because we know those are often the kitties with little to no chance of being adopted and desperately need to be rescued. So, when an elderly cat named Roman was surrendered by his owner due to litter box issues, he may have decided NBCR was his chance to be saved. He was so right. His foster mom said he is a very sweet and personable guy. Roman deserves a second chance to live the rest of his life loving and being loved.
With your financial help, all of the cats we rescue are spayed/neutered and provided with the best medical care. Working together as a team, New Beginnings Cat Rescue and you are helping to put a stop to the suffering of so many cats. Lives are saved. Thank you for your continued financial support!
