This Project aims to provide urgent food, basic medical care, and rescue support to street dogs affected by conflict and displacement in the country. Through regular feeding programs and basic veterinary treatment. This will reduce suffering and prevent further deaths. It will help protect vulnerable animals and promote humane care in crisis-affected areas.
Due to ongoing internal conflict in Afghanistan, thousands of families have been displaced from their homes, leaving behind thousands of dogs in empty houses and on the streets. These stray animals are now facing severe hunger, disease, and neglect. Local communities are unable to provide adequate food or medical care. As a result, more than 9,000 dogs are currently at risk, and many have already died due to starvation and lack of treatment.
We currently provide support to street dogs. Our team provides immediate treatment for their wounds, infections, and parasites. The gravely ill or injured are driven to veterinary clinics for specialized care and we provide food to 140 dogs per month.
The life and quality of 9,000 homeless dogs are protected from all kinds of diseases and hunger.
