This quarter TAHUDE celebrates for being recognized and selected for incentive to absorb its biogas loan risks. The government of Tanzania through Tanzania Domestic Biogas Program (TDBP) gives TAHUDE Tsh.175,000 per every biogas loan. This fund is given to absorb unforeseen risks of unexpected defaulters
With this incentive, we can now move forward with confidence, even among the most poor community members. Now they are given an extension of up to 2 years for their loan repayment.
We would have not easily attracted the government attention to our project if we did not receive enough support from you and your colleagues who are helping us through TDBP.
With 89 biodigesters it built, TAHUDE is now the second large biogas promoter in Tanzania. Please consider a table on statistics on IMPACT. See the tons of trees saved, carbon dioxide emissions protected, and the trees planted. Women and girls are particularly grateful because the pain of collecting firewood for about 2 hours every day is GONE!
Your continue support is highly valued and we promise to continue making positive IMPACT for the environment, health, and people. We have created jobs for 15 biogas technicians, sales to the materials suppliers, and incentive to biogas promoters.
