THANK YOU to everyone who continues to support our efforts to promote clean energy, environmental protection, and sustainable livelihoods in rural Tanzania.
This quarter, we visited Gongali Village to follow up on one of the household biogas systems previously established in the community. The attached photo shows the biogas installation and its surrounding environment during our visit.
Although we did not receive considerable donations for the biogas activities this quarter, our work on the ground has continued. Using our own locally available resources, we visited community members, assessed existing installations, listened to their experiences, and continued providing encouragement and practical support.
Biogas remains particularly relevant to rural families because locally available organic materials, including livestock manure, can potentially be converted into useful household energy while the resulting slurry can be returned to farms as organic fertilizer. This creates an important connection between clean energy, agriculture, sanitation, and environmental conservation.
The visit also reminded us that installing a biogas system is only the beginning. Long-term impact requires fllow-up. Existing systems need to be maintained, users need continued technical guidance, and older installations may require rehabilitation or improvement to remain useful to families.
We therefore remain committed to supporting households in Gongali Village and gradually expanding access to practical clean-energy solutions as resources become available.
To all our supporters: even when external donations are limited, we continue doing what we can with our local resources. Your future support will help us rehabilitate existing systems, support more families, provide technical follow-up, and demonstrate that clean energy solutions can work sustainably in rural communities.
