Vrinda, a lively and confident 9-year-old girl, has been a part of Udaan Girls Home, Salaam Baalak Trust, since February 2022. After losing both her parents and later her grandmother, Vrinda and her two elder brothers were brought under the care of the Trust. Having never attended formal school before, she began her education through our in-house non-formal learning sessions, where she learned her first alphabets and numbers. In 2022, she was enrolled in Class II at Virmani Public School. With consistent support and her own determination, she quickly adapted to the academic environment and went on to score an impressive 89% in Class III. Vrinda is also an enthusiastic participant in dance, yoga, and kickboxing, known for her energy, flexibility, and eagerness to learn and perform. We are delighted to share that Vrinda has now joined Class V at the prestigious Lawrence School, Sanawar. This marks a major milestone in her journey, and we wish her all the very best as she embarks on this exciting new chapter.
