Mahatalaky Primary School in southeast Madagascar serves 411 students. It was severely damaged by successive cyclones, leaving only four usable classrooms and unsafe sanitation facilities. Programme Sekoly will restore classrooms, repair latrines, build a menstrual hygiene facility, install a 10,000-litre rainwater system, deliver WASH education, repair the canteen, and support community tree planting. This will create a safe and climate resilient learning environment for children to thrive

Programme Sekoly will restore classrooms, rehabilitate latrines, build a menstrual hygiene facility, install a 10,000-litre rainwater system, deliver WASH education, repair the canteen, and support community tree planting. This will create a safe, healthy, and climate-resilient learning environment for children to thrive. Out of the $98650 needed, $39150 has been secures and we are looking to secure $57500 for the project.

WASH education and community-led management structures will promote lasting behaviour change, while climate-resilient infrastructure and tree planting will strengthen the community's abi
