Children with autism need space. We renting a two rooms cottage which cannot accommodate the nerds for the children. We need to have sensory rooms, room for therapy and classrooms. We need to be in a place with visibility so that we can be able to reach more families. Our goal is to get people to accept children with special needs. We looking after children with special needs and due to people not understanding the culture of these children we are getting evicted every time we are just about to settle down
The council has offered us a venue that has not been used for some time but it needs to be renovated so that the children have a decent place to call home. These children will be afforded a home and three meals a day and also security. The stigma will be reduced and no one can now evict us
As we grow and get more children we will look at getting moveable classrooms until we can buy land and build permanent structure that will be ours. This is my dream and legacy I have for these children as no one wants to look after them due to the stigma attached to neurodiversity
