A Renewed Promise -Lebanon

Through the generous support of our donors, through  Renewed Promise Project, this year’s Ramadan campaign in Lebanon brought light, warmth, and hope to thousands of vulnerable families across the country. In a time when Lebanon continues to grapple with deep economic collapse, rising food insecurity, and the aftermath of multiple crises, our Ramadan initiative reached people of all nationalities—Lebanese, Syrian, Palestinian, and others—regardless of background or location. From the northern villages to the heart of the Bekaa Valley, from crowded urban neighborhoods to remote mountainous areas, food parcels and hot iftar meals were distributed with care and dignity. But perhaps one of the most powerful moments was in South Lebanon, where families are still recovering from the recent waves of destruction and displacement caused by ongoing tensions and conflict. Amid damaged buildings and the echoes of fear, we organized a touching community iftar—a shared meal that brought together families, neighbors, elders, and children in an atmosphere of unity, resilience, and spiritual reflection. It was more than just a meal; it was a moment of healing, a reaffirmation of life, and a living example of the true spirit of Ramadan: mercy, togetherness, and renewed faith. The smiles, the tears, and the prayers we witnessed spoke volumes about the deep impact of your support. Thanks to your generosity, Ramadan this year was not about what people lacked—but about what they shared: compassion, solidarity, and the hope for a brighter tomorrow.
