"A Renewed Promise" Ramadan campaign aims to alleviate the hardships faced by the most vulnerable members of our community, regardless of nationality or background, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. The project focuses on the distribution of essential food Items (Food Parcels, Ready to Eat Parcels, Iftar Meals, Bread Bags, Dates Packages, Drinking Water, and Non-Food Items such as Clothing Vouchers for kids to ensure sustenance, promote nutrition and strengthen solidarity.
Lebanon's protracted economic and financial crisis, which has been ongoing since 2019, has severely undermined the country's economic stability and social fabric. In addition to the recent war in Lebanon which has further strained Lebanon's fragile recovery though it ended and displaced Lebanese families have returned to their homes, but they have lost their businesses and income sources. Not to forget the Syrian and Palestinian Refugees who are living in dire situation as well.
The basic Ramadan Items will be distributed to the most vulnerable families, improving food security and health by alleviating hunger and reducing the risk of malnutrition. Through " A Renewed Promise Campain" we will ensure that no one will sleep hungry this Ramdan all over Lebanon and no child will experience Eid without Eid clothing! It's the actual meaning of spreading hope!
The project supported SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) by alleviating financial burdens, promoting self-sufficiency and laying the foundation for long-term prosperity and SDG 3 (Health and well-being): By distributing hygiene and dignity kits, the project improved personal hygiene and health, reducing the risk of disease and promoting overall well-being.
