Cyclone Fani has led to wide-scale destruction and numbers of villages are submerged due to heavy rainfall triggered by it. Poorest sections of the society are the most affected with many losing their homes and livelihoods. There is a shortage of food, water, and other facilities. An outburst of diseases is a major concern.
