On 24 June 2026, two powerful earthquakes devastated parts of Venezuela, causing widespread destruction and displacement. The Yashchenko Foundation is raising funds to support trusted local humanitarian organisations delivering life-saving emergency assistance. Through rigorous due diligence, we provide grants to experienced Venezuelan partners to supply urgent shelter, clean water, food, healthcare, and protection to vulnerable families.
On 24 June 2026, two powerful earthquakes devastated Caracas, La Guaira, and surrounding areas in Venezuela, collapsing residential buildings and infrastructure. Thousands of displaced families are sheltering in temporary conditions without reliable access to safe drinking water, sanitation, or basic household items. Overwhelmed hospitals and existing economic hardships leave these communities highly vulnerable. This project supports thousands of survivors in urgent need.
The Yashchenko Foundation will provide rapid grants to vetted, experienced Venezuelan humanitarian organizations already operating in the affected communities. These local partners will use the funds to deliver immediate life-saving aid, including safe drinking water, hygiene kits, emergency shelter materials, food assistance, and critical medical supplies. The project will also fund targeted protection services for vulnerable groups, including children and the elderly.
This project provides immediate, life-saving relief to displaced families while simultaneously strengthening the capacity of locally-led humanitarian organizations in Venezuela. By investing directly in trusted local partners rather than duplicating efforts, we ensure rapid assistance and leave behind stronger, more resilient community institutions capable of effectively responding to future emergencies.
