We aim to help the people affected by the cyclone that hit the coastal region of Bangladesh. Where there is a shortage of clean food, water and food. The victims have lost power and communication. In such a situation, it is the moral responsibility of all to stand by the side of these helpless people. Under this project, we will provide direct relief and rehabilitation to thousands of victims.
Bangladesh is a cyclone-prone region. Several major cyclones have hit here; which have destroyed homes, crops, infrastructure and livelihoods of people living in coastal areas of the country. This resulted in a humanitarian crisis. Many people here face food insecurity, water scarcity, hygiene problems and loss of income. The cyclone causes trauma and stress on children and women, affecting their mental and health well-being. The affected families need immediate relief.
This project will help thousands of cyclone-affected families in the coastal region of Bangladesh. Under this scheme, clean drinking water, rations, medical kits and rehabilitation will be provided to the victims. The project will also provide psychosocial support and protection to children and women exposed to cyclone trauma, and violence.
The project will not only address the immediate needs of cyclone-affected families but also help rebuild their lives and resilience. Their food, water, hygiene and other basic needs will be met. It will also restore their source of income and work to restore economic security. The project promotes the mental health and social cohesion of cyclone-affected people.
