Dear friends,

We hope you had great Christmas celebration and we are sure that 2018 will bring to all of us even more happiness and fortune as we share our hearts and efforts to support those in need.  WFWP prepared small gift in order to congratulate all the families we care of and for one special need dear friend Daniel whose story we already shared in our previous reports and whom we constantly support we gave as a gift warm order-made school uniform.  It made Daniel and his mom smile and they will remember your care for them during cold winter days! Thank you very much.

Also, NGO "Women’s Federation for World Peace" conducted a master class "Gingerbread Fantasies" within the framework of the project of assistance of the IDPs in Ukraine. Immigrant children were covering with colorful icing honey cover gingerbread in the pizzeria "Vesuvio". The hostess of the pizzeria kindly invited us to hold a master class in the pizzeria "Vesuvio". We made such a master class for the first time, and, of course, we wanted to keep up everything to the highest level. The project was excellent. The children showed so much fantasy that it was difficult to stop them when it was already time to go. Pizzeria "Vesuvio" hospitably greeted all the participants of the master class, as well as volunteers from the Women’s Federation and served pizza and drinks.

In section of personal stories let me introduce you the family of little Alesha  which arrived in Kyiv from Lugansk (the ATO zone) in June 2014. They rented a one-room apartment. Father immediately found a job as a driver-freight forwarder. A new life for survival began from scratch. When leaving, family took only necessary things, as well as all medical devices for Alesha.  Younger child Alesha was born an extraordinary child. He was born with a congenital pathology-esophageal atresia (child was born without esophagus). He was born prematurely at 34 weeks. Child experienced 6 surgeries and after 3 of them it was a miracle a child survived. Now he has two tubes in his body at the neck and belly. But he grown as a life-loving and bright boy.

Father of the family had accident and became disable.  But after family moved to a new place father tried his best to take care about the family taking any job he could.  But his sickness did not allow it and he got in another accident.  Mother was grateful that she could care for Alesha and father because they got into the same hospital and she could care for both.  Alesha has elder brother who is 15 years old.  He likes boxing and recently won regional level competition. He took major in rehabilitation.  Mother herself experienced two operations to remove tumor.  It is amazing family which undertakes much sufferings in their live but remains grateful for all life brings and they can discover best qualities in people who are helping them.  WFWP gave our support to them too. Thank you to all Global Giving family.
