Dear Rozaria Memorial Trust Partner
We have travelled together since 2012, navigating the rough and winding terrain but we are grateful that huge progress has been recorded in the construction of two classroom blocks at Magaya Primary School. We started together in the laying of foundation for both buildings, putting together the main superstructure and the roof of the classroom blocks in the year 2013 and 2014.
However, the anticipated progress to have the two classroom blocks completed by 2015 has been hampered by lack of adequate financial support. Despite the setback, the community was mobilised to contribute towards the plastering and flooring of the classes. As result, both the classrooms are now plastered both inside and outside. This has seen a great improvement in the state of condition of the classroom blocks which will provide a better learning environment for the kids at the school.
As we recognise the tremendous progress which we have recorded together in the past three years, our hearts are still heavy as we still need to finish flooring of the buildings. This work requires a total budget of $3000, 00 to cover for 150 bags of cement and labour fees for flooring, glazing and painting. In addition support will be appreciated in procurement of classroom furniture for the four classrooms. The school is using the classrooms in their uncompleted state housing the early childhood students.
We continue to call upon for your support for us to achieve our ultimate goal of a proper and conducive learning environment for the kids at Magaya Primary School. The enrolment at the school continues to take nose dive because of lack of adequate learning infrastructure; low enrolment is resulting in the school to failing to raise meaningful funds that can also contribute towards the development of the school.
For further information relation to the project, please do not hesitate to get in touch on rozaria@africaonline.co.zw or rozariamemorialtrust@hotmail.com. Thank you for your continued support, together we can provide proper infrastructure at Magaya Primary School.
Yours Sincerely
