FAVL's local partner in Burkina Faso, Amis des Bibliotheques de Village de Burkina Faso (ABVBF) has moved the office headquarters from the capital Ouagadougou to the town of Houndé, in Tuy province. This is closer to Bereba village, and should allow better support for the libraries in Tuy province. The security situation is much improved, with no attacks since June 2023 in the area. People are returning to the villages and some of the libraries (Karaba, Dohoun, Koho) have returned to normal operating hours. We hope in the coming months to begin working on the libraries in Bereba and Dimikuy.
