70 villagers rehabilitate children in Burundi, 1 to 10 years, hidden and stigmatized by their parents and by their neighbors because these children are suffering from the cerebral motor allow reassuring their lives present and future themselves, schooling and working. The rehabilitated children become witnesses for community and administrative advocacy for the prevention of the cerebral motor, non stigma and medical care to all children with cerebral motor in remote villages
In Burundi, many children born with cerebral motor disability. This handicap hits especially the children from the villagers. They parents cannot understand that. These children grow without strength, they don't move themselves, they can't do themselves their basic needs, they have to wait for someone that helps at all, if not, these disabled children accomplish their needs in their place. They are independent if they are not treated in specialized centers from birth.
The project raises awareness of all the neighboring provinces this cerebral motor disability through radio broadcasts through community radio stations 3 Gitega to encourage parents of children with cerebral motor to break their mentality, to hide their disabled children and stigmatizing to be treated by rehabilitating their cerebral palsy. After sensitization, our association will then proceed to register children with cerebral palsy, and then heals by rehabilitating cerebral motor disabilitie
Rehabilitation of 70 disabled children cerebral motor helps to be autonomous in their movement, for their education, to go to school, to work, to play, etc. and the community outreach and administrative 10,000 people through the radio for the prevention, stigma and not continuous medical care. After, with the community work, we can help many cases of the children of handicap cerebral motor.
