Since June 2025, Sindh Disabled Welfare Association (SDWA) has been providing essential support to children with Cerebral Palsy (CP) through the SDWA Rehabilitation Center in Thari Mirwah. To date, 65 children with CP have received support through the project, including physiotherapy, medical care, mobility aids, medicines, health support, and guidance for families on ongoing care. For children living with CP in underserved communities, access to regular therapy and appropriate medical and mobility support can make an important difference in their daily lives. Through the rehabilitation center, children are able to receive support closer to their communities rather than families having to manage without services or travel long distances for care. Families also receive guidance that helps them better understand and support their children's ongoing needs at home. The project is helping create a foundation for greater mobility, comfort, and independence for children with CP. SDWA will continue providing rehabilitation and family support while working to expand access to essential services for children with disabilities in Thari Mirwah and surrounding communities.
