A SPECIAL CHRISTMAS VISIT

C4HDI together with some volunteers embarked on this visit to the inmates purposely to access the inputs and outputs for the end of the year. We conversed with those whose release is within the next six months especially. It was discovered that two out of twelve needs more training in carving. Our secretary noted this and filled it into our to-do note book. Apart from these two inmates, the rest are found to be good at the different fields they were trained.
Before unloading our gifts and donations from the community, a role call was made with the intention of physical supervision of their behavior which was found to be okay. It's now the time to share different gifts ranging from range of inspirational books to biscuits and fruit drinks. They received all with excitement.

CONFERENCE WITH THE INMATES.

On sharing the gifts to the inmates, they were called together to discuss intimately with us. We prepared tailored questionnaire and asked them accordingly. The answers we got from it is encouraging especially on the particular question "how do you feel now compared to how you felt before being in the C4HDI training". All answered that they feel better being under the training and expressed their commitment and appreciations to Champions For Humanity Development Initiative C4HDI.

CAROL SONGS... EXCEEDINGLY WELCOME!

We sang a number of different Christmas carols with the inmates which was excitingly welcome by all. All sang their hearts out! A feeling of fulfillment was felt as different voices of different tones could be heard at the same time. "Those bass tones made me feel great", said one volunteer on our way back home. " I like the alto tones" our staff member said as the discussions were ongoing. For the first time, this was the year Christmas carol was sang with the inmates and it was welcome.

HOME HOME HOME WE GO!

We taught the inmates a new song titled Home Home Home We Go.
As we intended, this song shall always be sang on the day any of them are being released. We taught them the stanzas, three in number. Short but great, they concluded about the song. They learnt very fast and with excitement. Our intention for this is also to keep their hopes alive of doing greater deeds when discharged.
We thank our donors and stakeholders for making it possible to seeing our mission materializing.
Thank you.
