By Ebele Chukwuka (Mrs.) | Widow Storm Victim: Appreciative
Champions For Humanity Development Initiative (C4HDI) made another follow-up visit to the Widow Storm Victim on 7/1/2024 to encourage and comfort the widow and her grand children. This is our responsibility together with some other authorities in the village. On our arrival, we were impressed that her daughters uncompleted building was hurriedly roofed to accommodate visitors for her husband's burial ceremony which took place on the 23/12/2023. We commiserated with them over the death and burial of the victim's and the the children's grandfather.
We also found and appreciated a makeshift kitchen made of zinc. Atleast the widow and her grandchildren could sit around there to prepare what they will eat.We gave them words of encouragement and also told them the care and struggle that GlobalGiving is presently engaged in at making them come back to life.
In her speech, she was thankful to GlobalGiving and donors whom it touched to help her situation . She prayed for success for them and also showed us another health development on her body. Her body are full of black patches, a condition only the health experts can acertain and diagnose.
C4HDI and the village authorities at the of the visit remain thankful to GlobalGiving, donors and all the stakeholders in this matter.
