Hello everyone!!
So, here is a progress report for you lovely supporters to let you know what is going on not only with our group but with this amazing project!!
First and foremost, thank you for your donations!! We are getting closer and closer to hitting our target goal and making this project a reality!! Your support means so much to us and so we want to say, thank you!!!
Secondly, we are happy to report that we are one HUGE step closer to completing this project! Peacebuilding Solutions along with Siemens and Engineers without Borders at Georgia Tech is hosting a Case Competition in which college students will compete to design a refugee camp meeting the highest specifications! The winning design will be a combination of engineering expertise, creativity, social science innovations. We at Peacebuiling Solutions are very excited to see what these students can come up with!!!
With that being said, we are currently still working on getting the funding for this project in time for construction. We are planning on starting construction on our pilot project in the Spring of 2012. Help us to reach this goal!!!
Peacebuilding Solutions is going to be part of the Globalgiving Challenge for the month of August 2011! Again, the goal is at least $4,000 from at least 50 donors! Every little bit counts and every voice matters so help us be successful! We cannot do this without you guys!
As usual, we will keep you all posted on our progress! You can also go to the link below to visit our website and see extra updates. Until we meet again!
