First of all I want to thank you for your support of this amazing project. That said, the news today is that we need to turn to the second option, Plan B.
This project has been posted on Global Giving's website for three years and still has a long way to go for the full funding that would enable us to implement the project. It's a big project and consequently a big budget. La Reserva Forest Foundation has some other, smaller forest restoration projects in the immediate area, projects that will be easier and faster to fund.
Plan B then, is to roll over the funding that's been received to date for this project to a smaller, nearby project. In this way you will see your donations at work much sooner and we can GET PLANTING!! We have chosen the "Angel's Fruit Forest" project, please take a look at it and sign up for the project updates so you can watch the progress on this very worthwhile project. Angel is a Maleku Tribal elder and member of the Tribal Council, the fruit forest will benefit the Maleku people, Angel and the wildlife.
Thank you again, many blessings.
