We’ve just wrapped up another successful Get Redressed Month, Hong Kong’s largest circular fashion awareness campaign.
This year’s theme—Keep it. Wear it. Share it.—focused on three simple but powerful actions that everyone can take to reduce clothing waste and keep garments in circulation for longer. Thanks to the support of our community, thousands of items have been collected from across the city, helping to give clothing a second life rather than sending it to landfill.
Following this we held our annual Sort-a-thon, bringing together corporate and individual volunteers to sort through the enormous volume of clothing collected during the campaign. With our commitment to recirculating as much as possible within Hong Kong, this is a significant undertaking requiring time, care, and countless volunteer hours.
The clothing sorted during this process was distributed among local charities and helped stock our Secondhand Pop-Up, taking place last week.
If you missed this event please do visit us at our shop in Sham Shui Po (78 Ap Liu Street) or we would be grateful if you would consider making another donation through this platform. Your support helps us continue delivering local programmes that reduce textile waste, engage communities, and keep valuable clothing in use for longer.
Thank you for helping us make circular fashion a reality in Hong Kong.
With gratitude,
Hannah
