School Period 2021-2022: Four lines of Action

The school period 2021-2022 has been one of the changes for Lazos. As the pandemic continued and the visible future didn't favor education in Mexican schools, we decided it was time to take care of our beneficiaries, not only in our programs of human values and educational quality but also in their socioemotional and health care.

At the beginning of the 2021-2022 school period in august, we started working with four lines of action that will enable us to help the school communities with all the changes caused by the pandemic inside and outside the classroom. Our intervention model became enriched and oriented by these four lines of action that will help us to attend the priority educational necessities in our school communities.

1. Educational and socioemotional diagnosis: Using evaluations that will give us a better understanding of the impact and the necessities in both of these aspects.

2. Focus on human rights, inclusion, and human development: The content of all of our programs started to incorporate and focus on these subjects.

3. Socioemotional education and health care: Our programs shifted to the perspective of the wellbeing and the importance of health care.

4. Learning recovery: As we've mentioned before Mexican education is far from where it should be. The pandemic made the educational lagging far worse.

With these four lines of action, we hope to continue impacting school communities around Mexico.

We thank you for your support and please share our work and help us transform Mexico through education.
