2021-2022 period:Going back to the classroom!

Safe back to school!
Safe back to school!

As the vaccination program in Mexico reaches more population, businesses start reopening and "normal" life starts to reactivate, Mexican education department decided it was time for students to go back to the classrooms. The school period 2021- 2022 will be a new opportunity to do good for Mexican children and help reduce the increasingly alarming education gap in the country.

Starting this school period and looking to overcome the impact in education caused by the pandemic Lazos will work on 4 different action lines that will constitute our intervention in the school communities. The 4 actions lines will be:

  • Educational and Socio-affective diagnosis.
  • Human Rights, inclusion, and Human Development Focus.
  • Socioemotional Education and Health Care.
  • Learning Recovery.

Concerned by the lack of sanitizers and protection products available to our school communities, Lazos handed out protection kits for each student, teacher, and parent. Each protection kit had three washable facemasks, one face shield, and a jacket, also we handed out digital thermometers to each of the schools.

We'll keep working in our school communities to continue to form each of the members in human values and also achieve a high-quality education. We thank you for all the support and invite you to keep magnifying our voice with your family, and friends. Until next time!
