Art Class for Special Children : Art classes were conducted exclusively for the special children. The children were taught cotton bud painting which helps to develop fine motor skills, concentration and focus. The students were very enthusiastic and showed more involvement in the session.
Club Activities : Social Awareness Club is continued to be held ol for the students of classes IV&V. Topic on taxation was continued with revision on the topic, followed by activities on tax for better understanding among the students. Four sessions were conducted during this month.
A brain storming session to list out various sports all over the world were listed out. Further, Kabbadi as a sport was explained to the students with its rules, India’s accomplishments, etc.
Extempore Speech and Story Telling competition : Storytelling competition for classes I-II and Extempore Speech competition for classes III-V were conducted , and was judged by a social worker . Participants were judged based on body language, content, creativity and presentation. Most of the students who participated and won prizes in the Extempore Speech Competition are present and former members of speech club.
Group Art Competition : Group Art Competition for classes I-V was conducted with a group size of nine students each. For classes I-III, a large picture was split into nine parts and given for the students to colour, and for classes IV-V, the students had to draw a big picture based on the given theme and colour the same as a team. The students were judged based on team coordination, creativity, color selection and neatness. The students participated enthusiastically and the HM appreciated the efforts by the project for conducting the competition.
