Strengthening rural schools students also requires increasing reselience among them. Toward this, counseling sessions have been introduced to;
• Identifying problem areas of individual students and guiding them through counselling.
• Improving their personality through personality development classes.
• Instilling moral values through awareness and value education sessions.
The counsellor initially assessed the students through observation and interaction. Areas for improvement were identified and including, communication, behavioural issues and critical thinking. Accordingly the appropriate interventions are being planned. The counselor is further working on assessing the students through questionnaire, thereby understanding the personality and problem areas of students.
Addtionall our staff are also conducting value education for more than 1000 children every month; this is done through story telling, rhymes, competitions, role plays and other fun actvities, interwoven during the school timings.
We are thankful to all the donors for making these programs possible.
