Midyear at UBECI

Volunteers and children at the Cuadras market
Volunteers and children at the Cuadras market

The half of the year is already here and it's the perfect time to look back on the hard work of UBECI, and what your contributions have helped to put in place!

“I have been to the UBECI programs for 5 years. Since I have been helped by them I received a notebook, pencils, erasers and a soap. I also learned to study, to be a good person, to respect my elders and not to disturb their conversations. We learn to take care of ourselves with UBECI. I think it's important that UBECI keeps helping more children like me because then they can learn to study and they can stop working.”

“UBECI has worked with my children for 2 years now. The work they do is really good because my daughter is very interactive, she is more relaxed, she really enjoys to paint and draw and she really loves playing and interacting with the other children. The help UBECI gives us is very precious for us who work in the markets, they really help us take care of the children. For us it is very crucial help. I hope that UBECI keeps taking care of more children throughout the whole country because there are a lot of mothers who work constantly in the markets that could really use the help."

The beautiful accomplishements of UBECI would not have been possible these last months without your support of our foundation. While the sustainability of the project is never fully secured, your generosity brings us closer to that goal every single day.

The June donation challenge is still underway and we have faith that we can meet our goal, with the help of people like you raising awareness of our cause and backing us loyally.

Your friendship and support mean a lot to us and the children.
