Coming up on the end of the school year, we have the exciting job of collecting all the survey data to find out what our true impact has been. Beyond any percentage though, are the students' voices who tell us how valuable this program has been.
One student shares that he has other tools now for when he is frustrated. A young girl draws a picture of her happy place where she knows she can take herself when she's scared. Another student writes that without this program he wouldn't have made it through 10th grade. And a we recently saw one of our high school students' chorus performance. When asked about ResilientKids classes, one student said that our classes have given her the confidence to perfrom in front of us that night.
At ResilientKids, we believe that when children learn to handle adversity, manage their emotions, conflicts, and disappointments in a productive way, the BECOME RESILIENT.
We believe that academic learning, coupled with social and emotional learning can TRANSFORM OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM.
We believe that all students need the skill sets to help them, and therefore our communites, THRIVE.
We believe that all children deserve these tools as the FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS in school, career and life.
Thank you for believing in ResilientKids. The students (and their teachers!) thank you.
