This March, ACE Charity in collaboration with ACE Education UK had its second teacher training webinar, a part of our Knowledge Exchange Program; an intensive training initiative that provides Government school teachers in Nigeria with comprehensive professional development.
The 2-day webinar focused on training 59 teachers from 5 public primary schools' innovative strategies for teaching Science and improving the effectiveness of Mathematics. The training sessions were facilitated by qualified volunteer private school teachers in our partner school in the UK.
At the end of the webinar, 61% of the participants responded that the training met their expectations with 35% of them saying it exceeded it, indicating that 96% of the participants had an improved perception of teaching techniques taught. Also 84% mentioned that they would definitely recommend the training to their peers and 65% of the teachers expressed their confidence in their ability to apply the strategies learnt.
You can catch a glimpse of how the training session went here! Every teacher training session we can successfully hold helps bring to reality our mission of enhancing teachers' skills and knowledge to foster a more inclusive and effective educational environment that promotes lifelong learning and academic excellence.
Kindly keep supporting our work by donating and sharing why you choose to support us with your community of family and friends.
