ACE Charity’s Knowledge Exchange Program in collaboration with ACE Education UK; aims at bridging the gap of education inequity for underserved pupils and teachers in public primary schools.
As part of our commitment to improving public education, we are empowering public schoolteachers with training that will help them teach effectively in low resource settings and manage large classrooms. In October we had held a two-day training session themed: "Teaching with Impact: Crafting Effective Instructional Materials for Engaging Classrooms and Boosting Engagement through Collaborative Learning in Large Classes", where 52 public school teachers received training through hands-on sessions that explored innovative ways to make learning more interactive and environmentally conscious– turning creativity into a driver for quality teaching.
In two days, participants learned how to create effective teaching aids using everyday scrap and simple recyclable materials such as plastic bottles, Styrofoam, carton, old newspaper etc. The training addressed some of the most pressing challenges in public schools; the lack of teaching aids and limited access to continuous capacity-building opportunities.
By providing access to effective teacher training, we aim to promote impactful classroom experiences for our beneficiaries. Kindly keep supporting our work by donating and sharing why you choose to support us with your community of family and friends.
Thank you!
