Unfortunately, our waste sorting and storage area on Mantanani Island was destroyed a few months ago, possibly due to an attack by roaming animals around, such as wild cows. Incidents like this have happened before since the beginning of our waste management project.
We appreciate all the efforts by volunteers from Camps Borneo International who helped repair and mantain the waste sorting and storage area.Thank you to the Waste Programme Management team for working hard to fix the damages and always ensure the area is in good condition!
We are hoping to raise more funds to build a studier fence around the waste sorting and storage area.
