This project was aimed at raising funds to procure dialyser recyclers to significantly reduce the out-of-pocket cost of dialysis in our hospitals.
Unfortunately, we received minimal donations towards this project and have still not been able to provide recyclers to institutions as we intended. Howver, we have continued to strongly advocate for this and have engaged with a State Commissioner of Health who hoped to champion this innovation in public hospitals.
St Linus has not rested, as we have supported about 10 patients to receive dialysis and continue to provide free medical consultation, subsidised medicines and laboratory tests.
We believe in our Vision and with your help we can achieve more.
